Wyndham - Corpus Christi Resort North Padre Island

Extremely happy with our stay. Highly recommend for it's location on the beach with beachside pool. It must be heated bc there were people in it in mid December albeit with the outside temp between 70-80 degrees in the morning then 80s afternoon. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. My better half didn't like a so called "upgraded" barn door on the bathroom. No lock and of course you can hear through the large gaps, probably smell too The grill and bar was good and convenient for dining with a great view of the beach. No free breakfast but our room rate was good so worth it to pay for a made to order meal. There's also an outdoor patio bar next to the pool. This place has it all. It must be really happening during peak season. It's our new favorite location but will likely stay away during major summer holidays due to the chaos it must generate with the nearby condos too. It's just too good here so we'll see. There is even a public parking with showers and bathrooms right next door of you're just visiting the beach. Again, must get jam packed all season long.

Wyndham Corpus Christi was the highlight of our trip. The room had an ocean view and was super clean. Service was friendly and fast. Loved relaxing by the pool with a drink. We'll definitely stay again!

Great Beachfront Getaway! Love this place! Lots of fun with beachfront pool bars and a relaxing atmosphere — perfect for enjoying time with family or friends. There’s live music, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel is clean, and the room and beds were very comfortable. They’ve really cleaned it up since my last visit in 2018 — definitely recommend for a stress-free beach vacation! The staff was very courteous and provided exceptional customer service. Keep that team — I’ve never met such pleasant and welcoming hotel staff! Give them a raise they deserve it and are very helpful when you need towels etc. I also appreciated the convenience of having coffee and water available in the lobby, and the ice machines worked perfectly too. I definitely will come back for more vacations. Before the music use to end at 12am and now saw it ended at 1030pm. Keep the live music its great!!!

Our 2nd stay here to celebrate my husband's birthday. Book an ocean view room if you can- we love sitting on our balcony & seeing/hearing the ocean! I was concerned because we saw several reviews complaining about not being clean. I can say from our experience, there was NO issue! Food portions from the restaurant are generous & everything we ordered was very good! Jaycee is a fabulous server, so ask for her! The poolside bar is now leased to another company, so it's lost a bit of the personal touch. But it's so convenient & drinks are good! The bar does attract people not staying at the hotel, so weekends mean hotel residents have to park further away. Suggestion for Wyndham- reserve ample spots to cover residents on weekends & enforce it! The stairs down to the beach were broken during our stay & torn down in advance of being re-built. We had to walk further to access stairs from another facility, but not too bad. Hope everyone enjoys their stay here. We'll be back in 2026.

I had a great time at this place I had such a great time at this hotel! Everything was clean and well-kept. The grill was pretty good the shrimp and fish both tasted great, and the bartender and waitress at the order counter were very nice and friendly. The lobby was spotless and welcoming, and I really appreciated the filtered water access near the lobby super convenient and a thoughtful touch. The pool is awesome! The speakers playing music really boost the atmosphere and make the whole place come alive. Even the entrance music was inviting and set a nice tone when arriving. It would be fun to hear some Beach Boys or 1950s-style beach music added to the playlist! I also think it’d be great if they added a few snack options near the bar area like chips and queso or fried pickles perfect to enjoy with a cold beer. The live music near the pool was fantastic . I loved the mix of jazz, country, and everything in between. I did notice one of the outdoor rinse pipes near the live music deck leaks a bit when turned on probably a busted pipe under the wood deck area. I mentioned it to the front desk so maintenance can check both sides where the rinse showers are located, just to be safe. So definitely have someone look at it and also the chairs in pool some were broken it can cause someone to fall. I think it was only 1 chair. I fell when I laid on it. Luckily I'm ok. But, others may complain. The restrooms in the lobby were very clean, and the drinks were delicious! I also loved that the rooms came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash they smelled great and left my skin feeling soft. Rooms were not small good size got the queen beds double all hotels have same size so its normal. Elevators are small but if your a big person then you might not be comfortable . Overall I didn't care I was really there to enjoy the pool music and beach. Great location Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, fun weekend getaway with family. The pool, the live music, the bar, and the beachfront views make it an amazing spot plus, you can easily walk to nearby bars and restaurants. Loved it! my kids love the pool and I love its near bar area where I can sit have a drink and watch my kids enjoy pool and music at same time. Definitely never change the music or pool side. Its awesome.

We stayed for 2 nights starting 12/30/25 and had a 3rd floor balcony beach view room. The view was amazing! The hotel is currently undergoing renovation so you could tell some older some newer in the hotel which we didn’t mind. They were painting our floor day of arrival. The room seemed to be partially upgraded. One bed had already been replaced, the other needed it. Yes you could see some staining etc on carpets and walls, windows were dirty - but its the beach. It is hard upkeep for anyone to keep up with. I can say however that the housekeeping needs to take a small moment to look over things like the inside of windows as ours had adult handprints on them - minor inconvenience. The on site restaurant has great food and service. Ate there both nights. The bar was a happening spot as well for many people. Everyone we encountered was polite at minimum. We were up and able to watch the sunrise from our balcony. It happens directly in front of you and gets bright! Also note that the curtains in the room do not completely keep the light out so if you need darkness, it is not going to happen. For the most part the hotel was quiet but NYE it was loud. Their was a live band playing in the bar/restaurant downstairs and we could hear every bit of it through the floors/walls. You can also hear room doors slamming shut nearby with people coming in/out of their rooms.

Reasonably priced for a beachfront hotel. Breakfast not included, but there was a small fridge and microwave, so we brought our own food. There was also a small Keurig machine with tea and coffee. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff refreshed our towels when we asked. You can walk right down to the seawall and beach, and there is s place to wash your feet off by the pool. Several guests were there with their dogs. During off season in January the parking was free. I love the location, halfway between Port A and Corpus. We will definitely go back!

Excellent, right on the beach. Great staff, helpful and friendly. Was this absolute cleanest and nicest hotel that we have stayed in? No, but it is right on the beach! You cant beat that! Parking onsite (there is a fee), the restaurant smelled good (we didnt eat at the hotel.) We will be back
